About This Project
Leawarra Town Planning secured approval for a modern double-storey dwelling in Ferntree Gully, together with a variation to a Section 173 Agreement. The variation allowed development outside the approved building envelope and adjusted height limits set by the Legal Agreement.
The land is subject to local planning Overlays, including a Design and Development Overlay for the Dandenong Foothills, a visually sensitive area recognised by the National Trust for its unique landscape character.
Our team prepared the planning assessment, coordinated with consultants and Council, and managed the application through to permit approval. We carefully addressed visual impact and design integration to ensure the proposal complemented the surrounding environment. The outcome highlights our ability to guide residential projects through complex planning controls while maintaining a strong focus on quality design and local character.
