About This Project
Leawarra Town Planning provided comprehensive planning services for the new Berengarra Secondary School in Bayswater. The proposal involved transforming a 3.22-hectare site to establish five contemporary education buildings, delivering a much-needed facility for the local community.
The site's planning controls presented significant challenges, with flooding, vegetation, and rural conservation constraints, alongside sensitive residential interfaces.
Our team managed every stage of the planning process, from coordinating consultants and preparing documentation, to liaising directly with Council and the Minister for Planning.
We prepared the complete planning assessment, lodged and managed the permit application, and ensured all technical and policy considerations were comprehensively addressed. The Minister ultimately approved the proposal, acknowledging its strong planning response and design quality.
